We are all aware that this is a time of crisis, and we are each one of us human. That means we worry, we get upset, and we stress about what is happening. We are all affected by what is happening around us and what we hear on the news and the Internet.

For many of us, it puts us into a “crisis mode,” which entails putting things in order in our homes, at our places of work and helping others out until we are absolutely exhausted.

We’re tired and our energy is drained, we feel awful all the time, but our schedules are packed with even more although many industries and services have come to a grinding halt, we haven’t.

And what about our bodies and our mental health while we are trying to accomplish all this? Well, it’s times like these we really that need to receive KaHuna massage and we are not allowed and so to support you in the meantime I am passing on an 8-week course that I am gifting you to help you destress, recenter and get inspiration with 7 steps to a better life. Kahuna

Here are some simple tips which may help you…

  1. Notice the thoughts that are causing you anxiety and the story that’s taking place.
  2. Practise this heart breath from Heartworks Lomilomi and rest your nervous system. Breathing in through your crown, down into your heart and out to your hands. Breathing in through your base, up into your heart and out to your hands.
  3. Validate your thoughts and feelings - it’s okay to feel anxious or upset and reset your focus to what you want to feel so you can expand into that.
  4. Accept the uncertainty and discomfort of the situation instead of resisting it and be present to what is happening for you right now.
  5. Bring your attention to the present moment and your immediate surroundings and allow everything you do to fill up your LOVE tank.
  6. Focus on what is within your control. Feel free to put plans in place for things within your control, and practice letting go of that which you can’t control.
  7. Take care of yourself by exercising, eating well, reaching out to loved ones, meditation, enjoying daily doses of sunshine and make space for fun and mood-boosting activities during this time.
