Breathwork

I support you to reconnect to your body through your breath to release stuck trauma and tension without the need to go into the story. Through using the elements of breath, sound, movements, touch, emotions, and meditation.

Breathwork increases the awareness of the mind body connection to empower you away from the victim mentality and towards enlightenment, self-compassion and the development of a deep emotional insight.

Connect to the innate wisdom of your body and surrender to the experience

By connecting with the breath, the feelings, trauma and pain locked up in the unconscious can be released and held in a safe space to be nurtured and approached with kindness and care, to be acknowledged without judgement and harm, and to be truly attended to with the love and compassion that is needed.

As a result, the weight upon your shoulders can begin to lift, the deeper connection developed with your inner self can help create deeper and more meaningful connections with others, leading to a more satisfied, connected and content experience of life, living every day with intention.

Breathwork supports the physical alignment of body and self-awareness, of a spiritual connection, developing mental clarity and a more integrated emotional experience. Through conscious, connected breathing.

"Breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness, which unites your body to your thoughts. Whenever your mind becomes scattered, use your breath as the means to take hold of your mind again." - Thich Nhat Hanh

Breathing is the quickest way to change your state of being you can literally breath yourself into any state you choose to….

Trauma does not have to be big life changing events by nature of being born we are all traumatised to a degree. Trauma is defined by the inability to cope with any situation that overwhelms the mind’s ability to cope and this is why children are more susceptible to experiencing trauma as they’re coping mechanisms, abilities to process are less mature than that of adults.

In addition, prolonged difficult experiences can increase the likelihood of overwhelming a person’s coping ability. An emotionally abusive relationship with a partner, low grade to moderate neglect as a child or young person, or persistent bullying in school or the workplace, a pandemic and lockdown, are just a few examples can tip the scales from coping to being overwhelmed due to the persistence of the experience over long periods of time.
